Knitting in the round have you stumped? It's useful for anything that's a tube - hats, socks, sleeves, cowls, legwarmers, sweaters...
It's not difficult but it can leave us scratching our heads when we first try it.
During this class you'll learn the "Magic Loop" method of ciruclar knitting using a 40" circular needle. We'll make Tin Can Knit's Barley hat from brim to crown. Hat is sized "from baby to big" and uses worsted/Aran weight yarn. Pattern is available on Tin Can Knit's website. Please bring a 40" US 6 AND US 8 knitting needle and worsted weight yarn (see pattern for yardage).
Class runs for two weeks, it's advisable students attend both sessions, as we'll move at students' pace. Fee is for both sessions. Registration required and class size is limited so we may better assist all students.
